This two-step stair unit has an 8" rise, meaning the first step is 8" high, the next step is 16" high, and then you can step up another 8" onto a 24" high stage. 12" deep by 36" wide stair tread with a grey polyvinyl non-slip surface. Overall width of the stair is 38". Legs have a plastic foot insert and will not scratch your floors. This is a box stair type meaning it sits on the ground and does not have to be attached to the stage to function.
